Author Kevin Fedarko and photographer/filmmaker Peter McBride are two National Geographic explorers who made history when they set out to hike 800 miles of the Grand Canyon. During this trip, they documented their challenges, funny moments, and insights about the impacts of human activities on this iconic landscape.
Kevin Fedarko lives in New Mexico and works part time as a river guide in Grand Canyon National Park. He has written for Outside, Time, Equire and National Geographic Magazines. His book The Emerald Mile describes the fastest boat ride ever down the entire length of the Colorado River.
Native Coloradan Pete McBride is a self-taught photographer and filmmaker who has traveled on assignment to over 75 countries for the National Geographic Society, Smithsonian, Outside, Google, The Nature Conservancy, USAID and many more.
Each is an accomplished figure in their field in their own right, and POST is ecstatic to be able to bring our community the both of them in a joint appearance.
