Make an Online Donation

Fill out our online donation form to easily make a gift. POST is a nonprofit funded entirely through donations from private individuals, foundations and grants.

Designate your gift in honor or in memory of a loved one! If you wish, we’ll notify your honoree of your tribute gift by mailing them a card. All of this may be done through your online donation.

Donor-Advised Fund Donations

A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a fast-growing charitable program which allows donors to make a contribution, receive an immediate tax deduction, and then recommend grants from the fund over time. If you have a DAF, you can recommend grants directly to support POST. Donors recommend donations to POST from many DAFs – popularly Fidelity Charitable, Schwab Charitable and Silicon Valley Community Foundation. IRA Charitable Rollover Gifts (Qualified Charitable Distributions)

Legislation allowing tax-free IRA gifts from individuals age 70 1/2 years or older was made permanent in December 2015. Distributions of up to $105,000 per person per year must be made directly from your IRA to POST and count toward your required minimum distribution.* Checks often arrive without identification, so please email Jennifer Miano, Planned Giving Coordinator, or call (650) 352-4643 and indicate your name, the name of your IRA administrator and the amount of your distribution.
