I just moved back to the Bay Area after over a decade of living in other parts of the country. It’s good to be home! One of the first things I noticed and appreciated after this time away was the diversity of easily accessible local food, all year long. We’re lucky to live in a place with over 50 types of vegetables, 30 varieties of fruits and nuts and a whole host of locally raised livestock.
At POST, we love working with the farmers that make this abundance possible – they are some of the best partners we have in stewarding our area’s beloved open spaces. That’s why we have teamed up with 11 of them to bring you Plant, Harvest, Plate – a digital Bay Area food guide on where to find the food they grow or raise on POST-protected farmland.
These 11 farms produce some of the best local food in the Bay Area. All of them are committed to protecting our environment and producing healthy food for the local community. There are so many ways to connect with these farms and this Bay Area food guide will show you the way.
Download your copy of Plant, Harvest, Plate and enjoy some of the delicious local food grown by our friends on the farmland you’ve helped protect.
