Join Peninsula Open Space Trust and Latino Outdoors to celebrate community and culture while connecting with nature. This event will take place in person on Saturday, May 11th, at Camino Brewing Co. in San Jose at 5:00 pm

Designed exclusively for this event, Nature Lotería is a customized game inspired by the traditional Mexican Lotería game. This is our version of bingo! We look forward to unveiling our customized cards with the help of local San Jose artist, David Cipres, featuring stunning illustrations of the Bay Area and California fauna and flora. You’ll discover the wonderful biodiversity while celebrating Mexican culture. If you’ve never played before, we can teach you!

What is Lotería? Lotería (Spanish word meaning “lottery”) is a traditional Mexican board game of chance, similar to bingo, and is played on a deck of cards instead of numbered ping pong balls. Each card depicts a unique image, representing various aspects of Mexican culture, folklore, and nature.

Join us for a fun, interactive game of Nature Lotería and a chance to win prizes, enjoy live music from San Jose Cumbia artist Philty Dronez, interact with partner booths, and eat food and drink local beer. Bring your friends, family, and your four-legged companions! We’ll have pan dulce and aguas frescas ready for you to enjoy! There will be additional food available for purchase.

Register early to secure your spot!
