Taking care of your skin is important for everyone, but especially for people who spend a lot of time outdoors. Whether you work outside or spend some of your free time enjoying our local parks, having the tools and knowledge to take care of your skin will help you stay healthy.
Join Peninsula Open Space Trust (POST) for a talk with Dr. Susan Swetter, Professor of Dermatology at Stanford University Medical Center. Dr. Swetter will share the most recent research on the effects of harmful sun exposure, how to avoid it with clothing and a variety of products, including some of the most affordable options. She’ll also share tips on how to avoid and treat other common outdoor skin conditions like poison oak and bug bites.
