Open search conducted to find volunteer leaders, a first for the nonprofit

PALO ALTO, Calif. –January 24, 2023 – Peninsula Open Space Trust (POST), a 45-year-old nonprofit that protects open space on the Peninsula and in the South Bay for the benefit of all, today announced the appointment of five new members to the organization’s board of directors: Edward Quevedo, Kalle Dahl, Katherine Tsai, Nanhi Singh and Paul Simpson. The addition of five members expands POST’s current board roster to 18.

POST announced an open search for new board members, a first for the organization, in August 2022. “Ed, Kalle, Katherine, Nanhi and Paul bring a tremendous range of professional and personal experience, expertise and passion to POST,” said Jennifer Lynch, chair of the board public search task force. “We undertook the open search for board members to identify new voices and diverse perspectives that would inform every aspect of our work. We’re excited and fortunate to have this opportunity to broaden POST’s volunteer leadership with these exceptional Bay Area professionals.”
