Every big milestone deserves recognition. This week, POST reached the big 7-5….75,000 acres, that is! With your help, POST has now successfully preserved 75,000 acres of open space, farms and parkland across the San Francisco Peninsula. That’s an area roughly 2.5 times the size of San Francisco that will be protected forever. Three recent transactions are responsible for getting us over the 75,000-acre threshold. Learn more about these properties here.

To celebrate this milestone, we’re launching a new electronic newsletter. You were previously receiving our e-Tracks newsletter quarterly, but things happen too fast these days for us to talk just once every season. For instance, if we’d waited until late May to tell you where to to tell you where to go for the best spring wildflower hikes, you’d have missed them. We have also modernized our look, so you can easily read us on your phone or tablet and click through to the events and information you find here. This newsletter is just one of many updates you will be seeing from POST in the next few months. We hope you will tell us what you think about this new format by emailing us at [email protected].

We’ve come a long way since we protected our first property with you back in 1977. We hope you like the changes you see here, but most importantly, we hope you take some time to celebrate this important milestone in POST’s history. Thank you for making it all possible.
