Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a great way to get more connected to the land and support local farm businesses. Here’s a sample of some of the delicious vegetables you’d enjoy. Photo: Blair Friedeman

What if I told you that you could have farm fresh food delivered every week? What if I told you that food was coming from POST-protected farms? You’d be pretty excited, right?

Well, my friends, it’s possible! We work with a number of farms that participate in “Community Supported Agriculture” (most folks use the acronym “CSA”).

The idea is simple:

  1. Sign up with any of the farms listed below.
  2. Pay a monthly subscription or make an upfront payment.
  3. Receive a box of farm-fresh produce at one of the CSAs delivery locations.
  4. Enjoy delicious, high-quality food grown on farms protected by POST.

Why join? Why support local food?

There are a lot of reasons to join a CSA. Most folks join for the ultra-fresh, locally grown produce. But it’s also a great way to get more connected with the land. Each delivery is an opportunity to learn a bit more about the season and what’s growing on the land. It’s also one of the best ways to support our local farmers and be an active participant in our local food system. Below are a few of the farms we work with that offer CSAs.
